John Charles Hagee (born April 12, 1940) is the founder and senior pastor of Cornerstone Church, a megachurch in San Antonio, Texas. Hagee is the founder and National Chairman of the Christian-Zionist organization Christians United for Israel. His televangelist message is broadcast nationally in the United States as well as elsewhere, via his non-profit corporation Global Evangelism Television and others. Hagee believes in Pentecostal practices such as the "baptism of the Holy Spirit." He also believes in the "absolute authority of the scripture," baptism by immersion, and evangelism.
