But in 2019, the quest came close with Song of the Elves, 5029 days, 165 months, or 14 years after the Mourning's Ended Part II. It seemed like it was too good to be real that it actually occurred.
It came as a shock to Runescape fans when the last quest in the Elf series was announced at RuneFest 2018. After playing the quest there was a question on everyone's mind: was it worth the long wait? If you're planning on grinding to reach the Song of the Elves, know that you're in for a treat.

When you have found Iorwerth, he is able to join forces with you and the King to commit Regicide. You end Tyras' evil after the barrel bombing of his tent in Tirannwn.
Once returning to Lathas the next day, you are confronted by Arianwyn who is Roving Elves Arianwyn, a rebel elf, who is in opposition to Lord Iorwerth. Arianwyn explains the fact that both King Lathas as well as Iorwerth are in fact the evil ones who want to return the Dark Lord and Tyras was the only one to try to stop their plans.
